Volunteer Helpers Pitching In!
From Friday, January 17, through Monday, January 20, we hosted 43 young volunteers from Cedarville University in Ohio, providing them with sleeping and cooking facilities in our church building and treating them to a North Carolina style Bar-B-Que dinner. They came to help build and set up tiny houses for community folks who lost their homes to Hurricane Helene. But even more, they were a great testimony for Jesus, sharing the gospel and being good witnesses to folks all around the community! If these enthused, devoted young folks represent the future of the church, we have very good reasons for confidence and rejoicing!
